HELLO, FELLOW ALIENS :D
SORRY, SORRY, i know i havent been updating. haha. well, its just that im lazy and tired to do so. haha. for the past 2 days, which is yesterday and today, i've been attending school, to help out in the sec one regristration. hahaha. and yes, it was totally fun! haha. the sec ones were so afraid of us. like we were gonna eat them up like that. since we were peer leaders, we're supposed to help out the teachers in getting the sec ones settled in, and to make sure that they find they're respectives classes. on thursday, we went to school to prepare stuff for the sec one orientation. we were trying out our cheers that my group thought of, and were trying to remember them as well. :)
today, in the morning, i reached school like, 7am? i know right, SUPER EARLY! haha. oh well. Sze Yin and Jojo were earlier than me, surprisingly, and they were sitting at the benches outside the AVA room. so, we talked and waited for the rest to come. once they all arrived, we all assembled in the AVA and listended to the teachers in charge, Mrs Lee and Mdm Zubaidah, (shes so cute by the way, everyone loves her ) as they were giving us instructions and to brief us as to what we had to do later that morning. after that, we had a sport check. haha. because according to them, we had to look 'presentable', to set a good example for the sec ones. haha. and since parents were going to be there, so had to look our best. hahaha. see lah, got influence from all the long lectures that the teachers gave us. i find myself so naggy now. YIKES! :D
after the sport checks were done, we headed to our respective booths and stations. we collected the plastic bags which filled with Q chips, that had to be given out to the sec ones later, once they arrived. my group consisted of myself, Hakeem, Farhan and Firhan. YEA YEA YEA, im the only girl. YIPEE.... *sacarstic tone* hahaha. but since Firhan was late, Mdm Zubaidah asked another Eleanor to be in the group. so that out group had 4 people. and Hakeem was being annoying. haha. since he didnt want to call us seperately, he kept going, ' EH! ELEANORS! ELEANORS! ' so freaking irritating you know. haha. but thats just him i guess. the next Kiran. hahahaha :D
so, as time passes, more and more sec ones were coming in, and our job was to ask them to sign the attendance list, by their name, and issue them the Q chips. haha. AFTER ALL THIS WAS DONE, Mrs Tang and Mr Nathan gave their LONGGGGG speeches. and once they were done, Ms Tan dismissed the sec ones to go to their classrooms. and us as peer leaders, were to lead them there. hahaha. once in the classroom, they met their form teachers, and went through the welcome package that was given to them by us. the form teachers were also supposed to register them. and so, we didnt know what to to, but stand at the back of the classroom. haha. cause we supposed to assist them. but instead, the teachers were doing everything. haha so yupp.
after the whole sec one regristration was finished, we all assembled back into AVA room and chilled a lil. Me, Nidia, Hazimah and Hazirah chatted as usual. haha. then, it was time for us to try out the games that were prepared for the sec ones during the peer support sessions that we were supposed to be incharge of. it was so much fun trying them out. haha. and especially the girls, we kept on shouting in one game. haha. so yeah. once we were dismissed, Nidia and I headed for lunch at KFC, near tampines mall. than, we went to Safra to play bowling with Sha and Bas. hahahha. and we had so much fun! haha. especially when we shouted 'PUTRI!', when sha wanted to bowl. and you know what? the bowlng ball went straight into the gutter! haha. aww, sha, we love you :D
